Okay, it's been a while. I have not really been in the Halloween mood since my last post. But, the show
must go on. Just about a week ago, I started in on planning again.
Victor's encountered some major plumbing problems in his garage at a very unfortunate time,
so the haunted house is being moved to my house. Now, this wouldn't be any problem if my
garage didn't look like THIS:
On the bright side, I've figured out a way to use my garage with minimal work to get it
ready by using some of the boxes and shelves that are already in there as dividers for the
haunted house. Right now, I'm making a whole bunch of tombstones for a massive cemetary, for
which I will post instructions soon after Halloween. In addition to that, I was given about
twenty Devil's pitchforks which I plan to paint and make into a cemetary fence.
I most likely won't do any major updates again until after Halloween. Here is the current
Halloween situation, which I will try to update daily or as new ideas emerge:

Unfortunately, due to the lack of a static location, the DECA haunted house will not go
through this year. We will once again be setting up in Victor's garage for the local
trick-or-treaters. Last year's garage haunt was hugely successful,
and this year, we are determined to even improve upon that. We are looking at several different set-ups
to give the haunt more of a theme and take advantage of every inch of the garage space
we have to work with. I will try to keep the site posted with all of our current ideas. I
will also try to finish the instructions for some of the previous effects.

Well, I haven't updated in ages, and for that, I apoligize. Better late than never,
I suppose.
There is a LOT of stuff going on for this year's Halloween Haunt. First of all, my friend
from DECA (a business club at my high school) approached me last week wondering if I would
like to lead the planning and construction of a haunted house for their fundraiser.
Basically, what this means is that I've now got a $1000 - $1500 budget to work with, a
school gym to set up in, and loads of volunteers to help with construction. The project is
huge and going to take a great deal of my time, so I may not be able to get detailed
instructions for all my props up, as I originally intended, but I'll try my best to update
the site frequently.
So far, Shawn and Victor, who were both major parts of Haunt 2000 are
both in on the project with me, as well as Mike, who did not work with us last year. We've
got some very rough plans for the design and effects, which I will try to post as I get
them finalized.
As for other stuff, I got busy over the summer, and a few e-mails from people were
forgotten. I'm very sorry if I did not respond.
